Parts of Da Nang are reeling under severe heat wave conditions which are predicted to continue into the next few days, the Mid-Central Region Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting has warned.

The hot spell is resulted from the influence of the developing southern low pressure trough associated with seasonal southwest winds.

In detail, highs are soaring between 35 and 37 degree Celsius on the average temperatures in the daytime across the city, especially from 11.00am until 3.00pm.

Meanwhile, the lowest humidity is reported as between 45% and 55%.

According to regional weather forecasters, in a similar vein, other localities in the mid-central region are experiencing sunny weather with the highest temperatures in the daytime hovering at between 35 to 37 degrees Celsius.

The temperature of over 35 degrees Celsius is reported in the daytime, from 11.00am until 4.00pm.
