Da Nang students honoured for topping university entry exams for 2022-2023 academic year

The University of Da Nang held a ceremony on Thursday to honour 9 students who had gained top marks in the university entrance examinations for the 2022-2023 academic year.

Each of the 9 students who came top in the overall exams at member universities and affiliated training units of the University of Da Nang received a crystal trophy plaque, VND 10 million and a scholarship worth VND 5 million for the MC Skill Course.

Additionally, 4 directly admitted students were given VND 3 million each, whilst 32 students who gained outstanding academic results during the 2021-2022 school year were presented with Certificates of Merit from the President of the University of Da Nang and bonuses of VND 3 million each.

Furthermore, the University of Da Nang awarded 70 ‘Raising Students' Steps’ scholarships, valued at VND 5 million each, to students with difficult circumstances.

The total value of prizes and scholarships awarded was VND 600 million. This is also the 10th time that the University of Da Nang has organized such a ceremony to honour students gaining top marks and donate ‘Raising Students' Steps’ scholarships.

Besides, at the beginning of the 2022 - 2023 academic year, member universities and training units of the University of Da Nang awarded their excellent students with a total of more than VND 550 million in rewards and more than VND 6.3 billion in scholarships from their budgets and funds raised from generous organizations, businesses and individuals.
