A large forest fire, which broke out at Truong Dinh Village, Hoa Lien Commune, Hoa Vang District on Sunday morning, was completely extinguished at around 8am on Monday, the Head of the Hoa Vang District Forest Management Unit, Mr Le Manh Hung, said. 

Mr Hung added that the district’s Forest Management Unit was coordinating with local authorities to calculate the cost of the damage as well as to investigate who caused the incident.   A strict punishment will be imposed on the violators in accordance with the law.
