The ActionAid International in Viet Nam (ActionAid) will provide nearly VND7 billion in funding for Da Nang to implement three social welfare projects for the 2024-2028 period.

Many support projects will be implemented by ActionAid in Da Nang with a total budget of nearly VND7 billion.

These projects are involved in enhancing capacity to prevent epidemics in the community; combating domestic violence; and providing a number of primary schools in the city with computers.

The information was released by ActionAid at a ceremony held in Ninh Binh Province on April 8.

Currently, ActionAid has been implementing support programmes in 11 provinces and cities across the country. Along with education and healthcare in the context of increasing climate change, building adaptive and resilient communities continues to be a priority for the organisation

As a member of the ActionAid International Federation, ActionAid has been carrying out development programmes in the poorest and remote areas in Viet Nam since 1989. ActionAid Vietnam has long-term programme to find solutions for climate justice, in addition to community projects at local to central levels.
