In recent times, many creative models, which have been built, tested, and replicated by the Youth Union chapter of Hoa Khe Ward, Thanh Khe District, Da Nang, have helped its members and young people experience and improve life skills, thereby forming a lifestyle for the community.

In the past, many local youth models, once in operation for a period of time, were "wiped out" because they were not suitable for their nature and practical conditions. Some suitable models have not received adequate attention and investment, so they have operated ineffectively.

Faced with the practical requirements, the Hoa Khe Ward Party Committee has paid attention to improving the quality of new youth models. Each model, when born and put into operation, is thoroughly researched, undergoing through stages from idea, planning, content creation and learning from experience to ensure the effective operation.

Secretary of Hoa Khe Ward Youth Union Phan Hoai Duc remarked that all activities must always have innovation, diversity and richness according to each time and topic; and overcome boredom.

Accordingly, the "Youth Flower Street" model is a practical and effective activity that contributes to protecting traffic safety corridors and beautifying the landscape and environment around the lakeshore.

Thanks to the model, awareness and responsibility in caring for and protecting the works of each youth union member, young people and residents have been significantly raised.

The model was built from funds mobilised from sponsors and youth union members and young people in residential areas. It contributes significantly to building an increasingly green, clean and beautiful landscape environment at the amusement park along the Xuan Hoa A Lake.

Mr. Phan Tan Hoang, who often walks and exercises in the morning at the shore of the Xuan Hoa A Lake, said that since the lake shore was planted with flowers and regularly cleaned by young people, more and more people have come there to do exercise to improve their health.

With the "Waste classification at source in schools" model, the Youth Union organisation of the ward has regularly propagated plastic waste classification at schools and instructed pupils on how to collect and classify waste.

Meanwhile, the "For a peaceful school gate" model has been carried out by the Youth Union organisations of ward-level police and military units, and three schools, in the locality. Its purpose is to ensure traffic order at the school gates of Huynh Thuc Khang, Huynh Ngoc Hue and Le Quang Sung, thereby contributing to raising awareness for parents and pupils about obeying road traffic safety laws.

The “Deleting ads and picking up scratch cards” is also considered an outstanding model for Youth Union members in the ward. Everyone can participate and receive phone scratch cards. Since this model was introduced, the illegal posting of advertisements in the ward has stopped, thereby contributing to ensuring urban aesthetics.

Participants of the "Love Breakfast" model bring hundreds of portions of breakfast meals to low-income earners and people with disabilities in difficult circumstances. This is a very meaningful activity, contributing to encouraging the needy to overcome some difficulties.

Mr. Duong Diep, residing in group 46, Hoa Khe Ward, confided that he was given a motorbike valued at VND15 million by the Youth Union organisation of the ward to work as a ‘xe om’ (motorbike taxi) driver. Since then, he has had a stable job, creating a sustainable income to take care of his family's life.

Notably, the "Supporting the youth with vocational skills" is a model promoting the role and demonstrating the responsibility of the Youth Union organisation in supporting and helping disadvantaged young people have a better life.

In 2023, the Youth Union organisation coordinated with the ward authorities to introduce jobs for 20 young people and vocational training courses for 11 others.

It can be seen that, the abovementioned models with diverse and rich ways of doing things have greatly contributed to well fulfilling local political tasks, as well as affirming the position and role of the young generation.
