Inauguration of 'National Flag Street' at Hoa Vang Martyrs' Cemetery

On Saturday, the Da Nang Young Officials’ Club in collaboration with the People's Committee of Khue Trung Ward, Cam Le District, the Nguoi Lao Dong (Labourers) Newspaper inaugurated the ‘National Flag Street’ leading to the Hoa Vang Martyrs' Cemetery.

Accordingly, the Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper donated 2,000 national flags to the Young Officials’ Club. 1,500 of them were given to the People's Committee of Khue Trung Ward to establish a street dedicated to displaying national flags leading to the Hoa Vang Martyrs' Cemetery. The remaining 500 national flags will be used for upcoming volunteer activities.

On the occasion, the organizing board gave 20 scholarships to poor studious pupils, and 10 gifts to disadvantaged households, in Khue Trung Ward.

Mrs. Nguyen Thi Phuc, Vice Chairwoman of Khue Trung Ward People's Committee, said that after receiving the national flags donated by the Young Officials’ Club and the Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, the locality has already completed the flag decoration at the street leading to the Hoa Vang Martyrs' Cemetery and all roads in the area.
