On Monday morning, representatives from the Da Nang Association of Agent Orange Victims visited and presented gifts to members on the fisheries surveillance ship KN 774.  The ship is preparing to head out to sea after having been repaired at the Song Thu Company’s Factory X50.

The gifts included 2 live pigs, about 400 kilos of fresh vegetables, and pickles and mam nem (a type of fish sauce, made from small fish or small shrimps) which were made by the association’s staff members.  The gifts are seen as a great encouragement which will help the ship’s members to maintain their determined spirit to safeguard the nation’s sacred sovereignty over its sea and islands.
