Mr Kazuyuki said his bank's main investment market is China. However, the bank planned to expand its investment activities in many Asian countries, including Viet Nam.

He added many of Ashikaga's investors and its partners are showing their keen interest in investing into Viet Nam, especially Da Nang, with the focus on human resource exchange.

Accordingly, university graduates from Da Nang will be introduced to work in Japan, or in Japanese firms which are operating effectively in Da Nang, in order to enhance their work experience and technology exchange activities.

The Japanese guest affirmed that he would do his utmost to appeal for more businesses from Tochigi Province in particular, and his country in general, to learn about the city’s investment climate in the coming time.

For his part, Vice Chairman Minh expressed the pleasure to welcome the delegation of Japanese visitors.

Mr Minh remarked over recent years the municipal government has been paying much attention to improving infrastructure, as well as building industrial, software and hi-tech parks in a bid to attract even more foreign investors, including those from Japan.

Besides, some universities and junior colleges in the city have been offering training courses on Japanese language in order to provide human resources with a high-level of professional skills and proficiency in Japanese language for the city.

Also, Vice Chairman Minh hoped the Ashikaga Bank would encourage even more the Japanese banks' partners to seek investment opportunities in Da Nang.
