In addition, discussions focused on drafts of the city’s plans concerning vocational training for local social policy beneficiaries, and support polices for those who are eligible for local government sponsor.  Effective ways to promote the development of an IT architecture framework for the city’s education and training over the 2016 - 2020 period were also presented at the meeting.  IT architecture framework will be applied in the local education and training sector on a pilot basis in the upcoming 2016 - 2017 academic year.

Chairman Tho stressed the need to tighten the management of the number of permanent jobs created for local government employees, as well as the appointment of new local officials for the city’s authorities in accordance with the city’s regulations.

In addition to local social policy beneficiaries, local fishermen will be allowed to enjoy the city’s preferential polices about vocational training.

In an attempt to build Da Nang into a smart city in the future, Chairman Tho asked the local educational and training sector to pioneer in promoting the IT applications.  He added that plans to develop IT architecture framework should be considered carefully, with a focus on renting IT equipment from businesses to conduct the trail implementation of IT architecture framework in local schools, and appealing for public investment into the framework’s terminal equipment.

The city leader also urged relevant local agencies to strictly implement the city government's instructions concerning birth certificates and other related documents for newborn babies being delivered directly to their homes, and presenting flowers to the parents to congratulate them on welcoming their new family member.  Special attention should be paid to enhancing administrative reform in order to boost the performance of local government agencies as well as offer better services for the general public.
