On Monday, the Da Nang-based Dong A University (DAU) signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement with Japan’s Cookbiz Corporation and some Japanese food service providers to create employment opportunities for students.

The signing of the agreement was part of a recent conference in Japan’s Tokyo to promote Japanese investment activities into Viet Nam.

Under the agreement, these above-mentioned Japanese businesses will offer job opportunities for students from DAU’s faculties of Tourism and Food Technology. In addition, DAU’s training programmes and internship ones for third-year students will be renewed to meet the Japanese education standards.

This agreement creates a premise for ensuring the quality of human resources in food services in Japan starting from 2023, with the plan of receiving up to 1,000 DAU’s students each year.
