He said proudly that Da Nang boasts many advantages about geographical position, and natural, cultural and social conditions. He voiced his hope that the visit will help the crporation understand more about Da Nang's potential for developing AI, microchips and semiconductors.

Da Nang is also proposing to the National Assembly some mechanisms and policies to attract large technology corporations to Viet Nam, especially policies on high quality human resource training and development, the city leader said.

Secretary Quang wanted NVIDIA Corporation to discuss frankly the requirements and desires of technology companies when choosing investment locations. He hoped NVIDIA will pay more attention to AI training and support for Da Nang in the coming time.

In reply, Mr. Keith Strier, Vice President of NVIDIA Corporation, informed that this was the group’s second visit to Viet Nam after the first in December 2023. This demonstrated the corporation's desire to invest as well as realise cooperation commitments on training and development of AI and semiconductors with Viet Nam.

He remarked that NVIDIA Corporation is starting to deploy a number of activities in Viet Nam with the biggest goal of bringing technological knowledge into practice, and socio-economic benefits to the country.

It can be said that this is the suitable time for Viet Nam to take full advantage of AI to promote its socio-economic development.

After the visit, the delegation will consult with the group's Investment Department to come up with a plan to expand investment in Viet Nam. The NVIDIA Corporation expects to create jobs for tens of thousands of Vietnamese workers in the near future.
