Secretary Nghia highlighted the significance of the visit made by the Micronesian guests in fostering the bilateral relations with Da Nang, and Viet Nam as a whole.

The city leader remarked that his city was focusing on promoting the development of such aspects as education and training, hi-tech, tourism, and infrastructure. Top priority was given to implementing many tourism promotion programmes in a bid to attract more visitors to the city.

The host hoped that Da Nang and Micronesia would share experience in maritime tourism, eco-tourism, and catching and processing seafood thanks to their similarities in geographical position with long coastline.

In reply, Micronesian Speaker Simina said that the purpose of his visit was to learn about the city’s experience in tourism promotion in attempt to make Micronesia more inviting to visitors.

He took the opportunity to invite the city’s leaders to visit Micronesian islands in the coming time.
