A serviced apartment is a fully furnished apartment, available for both short-term and long-term stays. It provides amenities for daily use, and a range of other services, all included within the rental price.

The benefits of serviced apartments include privacy, space, low cost and flexibility, thereby making them ideal for travelling with family and groups of friends
The benefits of serviced apartments include privacy, space, low cost and flexibility, and serviced apartments, therefore, are great accommodation choices and options for family and group travellers.

Also, a serviced apartment offers facilities much like a traditional hotel but with added space, convenience and privacy like home, so you can enjoy living like a local when travelling - and usually at a much lower cost.

Thanks to their convenience and privacy, serviced apartments have become very popular with both domestic and foreign travellers. Especially, this type of accommodation is very suitable for families and groups of friends.

According to the Da Nang Tourism Department’s Accommodation Service Management Division, there are now a total of 378 serviced apartments in the city. These accommodation establishments receive the majority of guests from Viet Nam, South Korea, China, Japan, the USA, and some European countries.

Mr Ho Trung Thang, the owner of the Pearl Homestay and Coffee in Son Tra District, said he started to operate serviced apartment business in late 2018. He noted his apartment featured 2 single rooms and 3 dorm rooms, together providing accommodation for around 30 people. In addition, it has separate areas for guests to cook and organise BBQ parties.

He remarked his apartment’s receptionists who are on duty around the clock are willing to provide information about popular tourist attractions, local specialities, and motorbike rental services at reasonable prices for guests.

Mrs Nguyen Thi Vi Vi, the owner of the Uri Home in Hai Chau District, pointed out some advantages of this kind of accommodation. In particular, serviced apartments provided guests for space, privacy, and comfort. A serviced apartment is substantially cheaper than a hotel room when staying for a longer period of time.

She predicted that the serviced apartment business model would continue growing in the future.
