On Thursday, Mr Nguyen Tien Quang, the Director of the Da Nang branch of the Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), played host to a group of businesspeople from the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation (KICOX).

Mr Quang introduced the South Korean guests to Da Nang’s investment opportunities, especially in the industrial parks (IPs) and hi-tech park.

In reply, South Korean visitors showed their keen interest in seeking investment opportunities in such aspects as renewable energy, electronics, information technology, and hi-tech.

Although some KICOX's businesses have established cooperative relations with Viet Nam, this is the first time KICOX’s delegation has visited Da Nang.

In the coming time, KICOX will encourage more businesses to visit Da Nang to learn about its investment climate.

Established in 2006, KICOX which is under the management of South Korea’s Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) is responsible for developing and managing IPs.

Currently, KICOX is managing and providing support for 63 IPs out of 1,074 IPs across South Korea.
