Da Nang young talents win science and technology awards

Three young talents from Da Nang have been honoured with Golden Globe Science-Technology Awards and Outstanding Female Student Awards in the field of science and technology in 2022.

Specifically, Dr. Phan Le Minh Tu, 33, who is Deputy Head of the Functional Medicine - Medical Testing Department of the Medicine - Pharmacy Faculty of the University of Da Nang, has won the Golden Globe Science-Technology Award 2022.

Tran Ha Bao Thi from the University of Science and Technology - University of Da Nang, and Do Thi Ngoc Hang from the University of Technical Education - the University of Da Nang, have been named among top 20 outstanding female students in the field of science and technology.

The information has been released at an awards ceremony held in Ha Noi by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee and the Ministry of Science and Technology.

The annual Golden Globe Award aims to discover future talents in Science and Technology, as well as stimulate the creative abilities of Vietnamese young people.

This year’s award has been presented to 10 young talents who have the most outstanding research projects or solutions in the five categories of Information and Communications Technology, Medical and Pharmaceutical Technology, Biotechnology, Environmental Technology and New Material Technology.

Meanwhile, the intention of the Viet Nam Science and Technology Female Student Award 2022 is to honour outstanding female students for excellent academic results, articles published in prestigious national and international magazines and seminars, and participating in scientific research projects at all levels.
