Unlicensed eateries in Son Tra District removed

On Wednesday, the Urban Rule Inspection Team in Da Nang’s Son Tra District removed a total of 7 eateries on Hoang Sa Street which had been built illegally by local residents to carry out trading activities.

They were the Bay Hai, Cay Bang, Sau Luong, Thanh Map, Dan Da, Minh Giay, and Be Khue eateries.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Ba Trai 2 eatery and many bistros along a section of Pham Van Dong between its intersection with Huy Du and Ngo Quyen streets were removed by the district’s Urban Rule Inspection Team due to the unlicensed construction.

As planned, the district’s Urban Rule Inspection Team will cooperate with the authorities of Man Thai and Phuoc My wards to remove 5 unlicensed -built eateries namely Tho Y, Be Bien, Ba Thoi 2, Lau Trang and Be Ni on Hoang Sa and Vo Nguyen Giap streets,

Besides, the Chau and Thanh Hien restaurants which have been illegally upgraded from long-built houses will be removed.

Some restaurants and eateries on Hoang Sa, Vo Nguyen Giap, Pham Van Dong and Vo Van Kiet streets which have construction and operation licenses expired will be asked to remove before 30 June.

If owners of these unlicensed restaurants and eateries do not comply with the notice within the time set out for them, the district authorities will enforce the demolition order in accordance with the city’s rules before 15 July.
