During his reception on Friday for Chilean Ambassador to Viet Nam Jaime Chomali Garib, Da Nang People’s Committee Vice Chairman Ho Ky Minh affirmed his government will create the best conditions for Chilean businesses to invest into the city in such aspects as information technology, hi-tech, tourism, and organic agriculture.

The host hoped the Chilean diplomat will make every effort to further boost the cooperative relations between Da Nang, and Chilean localities and their businesses, in the years ahead.

In reply, Mr Garib thanked the authorities of Da Nang, and Viet Nam as a whole, for their special sentiments for his country.

He remarked Viet Nam and Chile shared many similarities in their development strategies. He, therefore, hoped the bilateral trade relations with Da Nang, and Viet Nam as a whole, will be enhanced in the future.

The Chilean guest showed his keen interest in Da Nang’s start-up programmes. He said that representatives from a Chilean city will visit and learn about Da Nang’s experience in startup activities in the coming time.

He pledged to make greater efforts to advertise the beautiful images of Da Nang to Chilean businesses in order to encourage them to visit and learn about the city’s business and investment environment.
