During his visits, Standing Vice Chairman Dung carefully inspected site clearance, construction progress and the establishment of resettlement areas for households affected by the projects, as well as some issues of deep concern arising during the construction work.

In particular, with regard to the construction of the Nam O eco-tourism project in Hoa Hiep Nam Ward, the visiting city leader asked the Lien Chieu District authorities to collect public opinions about planning options as soon as possible so that the municipal Department of Construction can complete the adjusted plan for the eco-tourism project and coastal routes in this location.

Previously, Standing Vice Chairman Dung had inspected the progress of the rebuilding of the city’s Preventive Medicine Centre at 118 Le Dinh Ly in Thanh Khe District.

Worked started on the rebuilding of the 117.7 billion VND Centre in April.

The city’s Management Board of Da Nang Infrastructure Construction and Urban Development Projects is the developer cum manager of the project.

According to Nguyen Huu Nhat, the Deputy Director of the Management Board, the project will consist of a basement, 5 floors and an attic, with a total floor area of over 5,800m2.

At present, in spite of some unexpected difficulties arising during the construction work, the project is still being kept on schedule.

Standing Vice Chairman Dung asked the Management Board and construction units to speed up the progress of this important project as quickly as possible in an attempt to ensure that the civil work of the project will be completed by the end of this year.
