As its contribution to the National Action Month for Children, the Da Nang branch of the Bao Viet Life Insurance Corporation and the city’s Fund for Sponsoring Children have given “Bao Viet-Education Welfare” scholarships, each worth 800,000 VND, to 13 studious poor children from the districts of Hoa Vang, Cam Le and Lien Chieu.

The “Bao Viet-Education Welfare” scholarship programme has been implemented since 2005.  Under this year’s programme, 1,000 children from 63 provinces and cities nationwide will receive scholarships totalling 800 million VND.
