This year’s competition, which had “Innovative Applications of Design and Technology” as its theme, took place at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the Harvard University in the USA from 9 - 11 June.  There were 31 teams competing at the event from prestigious universities worldwide, including some in Canada, Japan, Russia, China and Singapore.  Each team was required to make a presentation to introduce their projects, and share their experiences during their design and implementation process.  They also had an opportunity to display their works at an exhibition during the 3-day event.
