The Da Nang People’s Committee has just issued a decision to adjust the Da Nang housing development plan for the 2021 - 2025 period.

Accordingly, the city strives to have an average housing area of about 30 square meters per person by 2025, of which urban areas will have 30,4 square meters per person and rural areas will have 27.2 square meters per person.

The minimum residential floor area is 15-20 square meters per person. The rate of solid housing strives to reach over 70%, of which, urban areas reach 80-90%, rural areas reach about 50-60%. There will not be simple housing, especially in urban areas.

Housing location and area must be consistent with the list of investment projects according to the Da Nang Master Plan for its development in the 2021 - 2030 period, with a vision toward 2050, Hoa Vang urban general planning; urban subdivision plans, general commune construction plans or in accordance with approved construction plans and urban plans as well as matching housing development targets and orientations according to the approved Da Nang Housing Development Programme for the 2021 - 2030 period. 

The city also strives to complete the ratio of individual housing floor area in housing construction investment projects to about 55.5% and the area of apartment buildings in housing construction investment projects is expected to reach about 44.5%.

For the development plan of each type of social housing for the 2021 - 2025 period, it is expected to invest in the construction of at least 25 projects with a combined total of 11,569 apartments.

Regarding  commercial housing, it is expected to construct at least 102 projects with a sum of 68,699 apartments. Meanwhile, 23,216 individual houses are expected to be constructed, 21,105 of which will be completed.
