In addition, the Da Nang Maternity and Paediatrics Hospital will be expanded by 5.8ha on its western side in order to increase the number of hospital beds to 1,200.  The project is expected to cost about 2 trillion VND, which will be funded by government bonds.

The construction of the Capital Square - World Trade Centre apartment, hotel and commercial complex on the eastern side of the Han River Bridge will begin in June this year.  The complex is expected to be officially operational in early 2016.  Covering an area of over 2ha, the 2 trillion VND complex comprises a 7-storey plus 2-basements commercial centre, a hotel, and a 32-storey plus 2-basements apartment building.
