Despite the economic difficulties in Da Nang, and in the country as a whole, last year was a successful year for the city in its budget collection.

According to the latest statistics released by the city’s branch of the State Treasury, the total revenue collection from domestic sources in the city hit 8.543 trillion VND, representing an increase of 373 billion VND or 4.57% above the year’s estimates.

In detail, the collection of land-use fees reached 1.928 trillion VND, 128 billion VND higher than the year’s estimates.  In addition, 6.615 trillion VND was collected from taxes and other fees, an increase of 245 billion VND.
