Localities in the mid-central region, including Da Nang, are reeling under severe heat wave conditions which are predicted to continue into the next few days, the Mid-Central Region Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting has warned.

The hot spell is resulted from the influence of the developing southern low pressure trough associated with seasonal southwest winds.

Highs will soar between 35 and 37 degree Celsius on the average temperatures in the daytime, and even over 37 degree Celsius in some parts of the mid-central region, especially from 11.00am until 3.00pm.

Meanwhile, the lowest humidity is reported as between 47% and 57%.

According to regional weather forcasters, Da Nang is experiencing sunny weather with the highest temperatures in the daytime hovering at between 36 to 37 degrees Celsius, whilst the average humidity is reported as 65%.
