On behalf of the Party, government and people of Da Nang, Secretary Quang extended his best wishes to leaders and people of Laos, the Lao Consul General in Da Nang Souphanh Hadaoheuang, and the Lao Consulate General's staff on the occasion.

He also expressed his delight at Laos’ remarkable achievements and its increasing position in the international arena over the past 47 years of construction and development.

He also thanked the government and people of Da Nang, and Viet Nam as a whole, for their helping hand given to his country over the past 47 years. Notably, during that period, Da Nang has provided positive material and spiritual support to the south and central provinces of Laos.

The Lao diplomat underlined that the visit made by Secretary Quang to the south central provinces of Laos in early July 2022 contributed to further enhancing the special friendship and traditional relationship between Viet Nam and Laos in general, and between Da Nang and Laotian localities in particular.

He expressed his belief that with the solidarity, consensus and determination of the Party, government and people, Da Nang will constantly develop and become a regional financial center and a worth living city in Viet Nam.
