On Sunday, Da Nang People’s Committee Vice Chairman Ho Ky Minh played host a group of visitors who are healthcare service providers in the Federal Republic of Germany.

Mr Minh highly praised the German guests for their great efforts in learning about his city’s investment opportunities in healthcare services. He affirmed that this move was also consistent with the city’s development by 2030, with a vision towards 2045.

The host underlined the significance of developing more cooperation programmes between the German healthcare service providers and the municipal Department of Health, the Da Nang General Hospital, and the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy of the University of Da Nang in the coming time.

During the meeting with Vice Chairman Minh, a representative from the DZ Germany Company stated that Viet Nam is a very potential market for building high-quality technology medical centres because up to 30% of patients who are receiving medical treatment in his Germany-based unit are Vietnamese people.

He also remarked Da Nang has great potential for developing high-quality healthcare services.

The guest added German healthcare service providers would focus on transferring advanced treatment technologies to the city’s hospitals in addition to building high-quality healthcare service centres in the city.
