Vice Chairman Dung remarked, “My city is giving top priority to promoting the development of tourism, services, and hi-tech and IT industries.  The city, therefore, highly applauds the visit of Saitama NBC, here to seek cooperative opportunities on technological transfer, human resource training, and capital contributions for mutual benefit.

Mr Dung added that his city is appealing for more domestic and FDI investment into the local healthcare sector in order to provide better services for local residents.  He asked Saitama NBC to cooperate with the local healthcare sector to organise seminars and conferences in the city, aimed at increasing the professional skills of local doctors and medical staff.

In addition, Vice Chairman Dung stressed the need for the two sides to expand bilateral cooperation in teaching the Japanese language to the city’s pupils and technical employees.

Chairman Hiranuma said, “This visit has helped Saitama NBC to open up many bilateral cooperative opportunities with Da Nang.  When I return to Japan, I will organise a conference to introduce the city’s investment climate to the Saitama NBC members”.

The Japanese guest said that his organisation is willing to provide the city’s healthcare sector with modern physical therapy technology and equipment in order to give better treatment to patients.  He said he wants to establish an association of pre-schools in Da Nang to promote bilateral cooperation and facilitate the development of human resources in this sector.

On behalf of Saitama NBC, Chairman Hiranuma Dai donated a Protect osteoarthritis treatment machine, worth over 1 billion VND, to the Medicine and Pharmacy Faculty of the University of Da Nang (UDN).
