As part of the 2016 Da Nang - Summer Rendezvous programme, the Paragliding Open Race entitled ‘Flying over the Tien Sa Festival’ took place in the city from 17 - 22 June.

A total of 60 professional and amateur fliers from the city and other localities nationwide raced from the top of the Ban Co (Chessboard) Peak to land on Man Thai Beach in Son Tra District.

Local residents and visitors were able to watch the many adventurous paragliding performances.
