All pupils studying at kindergartens, primary to secondary schools, continuing education and vocational training facilities, across Da Nang will have nine days off from 8 - 16 February to celebrate the 2021 Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday - the biggest traditional festival of Vietnamese people.

Meanwhile, both public and private universities in the city will develop their own Tet break plans following the Ministry of Education and Training’s regulations based on their actual situation and training programmes.

All school pupils and university students are asked to strictly follow the 5K (in Vietnamese) motto: namely ‘Khau trang’ (Face mask) – ‘Khu khuan’ (Disinfection) – ‘Khoang cach’ ‘Distance’ - ‘Khong tu tap’ (No gathering) – ‘Khai bao y te’ (Health Declaration) over the upcoming holiday in a bid to prevent the spread of the virus.
