SHB Da Nang’s U19 squad were held to a goalless home draw against top-of-the table Lam Dong in the second leg of the National Football Second League 2019 at the city-based Hoa Xuan Stadium on Wednesday.

Despite being underestimated in comparison with their rivals, SHB DN players played with their great efforts against Lam Dong who has had a lot of experience in playing the tournament for many years.

Despite fielding their strongest possible squad, the guests missed several scoring chances in the first half which ended 0-0.

In the second half, SHB DN piled on the pressure to try to pull off the win, but they missed several scoring opportunities due to inaccurate shots.

Finally, the game ended at 0-0.

In the other matches, Nam Dinh played out a 1-1 home draw against People's Police (SLNA) at the Thien Truong Stadium, whilst Sanvinest Fishan Khanh Hoa suffered a 0-2 home defeat to Kon Tum.

Lam Dong currently top the tournament’s Group A with 14 points, followed by Ha Noi on 12. SHB DN U19s are in 5^th place on 7 points.

SHB DN will play away against Kon Tum on Monday 15 July at 4.00pm in the Kon Tum Stadium.
