Finalists of Miss University 2018 participate in social activities

Forty-five finalists of the Miss University Viet Nam 2018, along with as many as 100 students from universities and junior colleges across Da Nang, attended an exchange meeting themed ‘Women Doing Startups in the 4.0 Era’ in Quang Nam Province’s Hoi An City on Wednesday.

The event was co-hosted by the Central Committee of the Viet Nam Youth Union and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association.

During the exchange meeting, the participants raised questions about recruitment, human resource training programmes and management policies, and preferential policies to retain qualified employees.

Also at the meeting, Mrs Le Thi Nam Phuong, the Vice Chairman of the Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs’ Association cum Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the SKY-LINE High-quality Educational System, and Mrs Hoang Thi My Hanh, Human Resources Manager of the chain of Vinpearl resorts, shared their valuable experience during start-up process.  

Earlier, in the morning of the same day, the 45 contestants cleaned up a section of the Man Thai Beach from the Son Tra Border Guard Stations to the intersection of Le Duc Tho and Vo Nguyen Giap streets.

In addition, they visited the Hoang Sa Exhibition House to learn about the historical evidence testifying the country’s sovereignty over its sea and islands, as well as presented gifts to 160 children living in the municipal SOS Children's Village.
