Exciting water puppet shows to be held periodically at local college

Yesterday, over 100 children from Da Nang were treated to an exciting water puppet show at the city’s College of Culture and Arts, 130 Le Quang Dao in Ngu Hanh Son District.

Organised by the Nguyen Hien Dinh Tuong Theatre, the show featured 14 popular water puppet performances, including ‘Cao Bat Vit’ (Foxes Catching Ducks), ‘Mua Rong’ (Dragon Dance), and ‘Dua Thuyen’ (Boat Racing).

Similar event will be held periodically at 9.15am on Saturdays and 9.00am on Sundays at the college.  The admission fee is 50,000 VND per person, but a 50,000 VND ticket can be shared by 2 children who are both under 11 years old.  Anyone wanting to arrange a private show can do so for 6 million VND and the venue seats 200.

In the near future, fascinating terrestrial puppet shows are scheduled for the Nguyen Hien Dinh Tuong Theatre.  These shows will feature lovely dances by such puppet animals as bees, frogs, and locusts.  In addition, there will be a wide range of exciting games for children in the audience during the shows.
