To date, the foundation construction at the 1st stage of the Long Hau JSC-developed hi-tech factory cluster for lease in the Da Nang Hi-tech Park has already been completed.

On 11 September, a group of German businesspeople visited this project to learn more about the ready-constructed infrastructure here for their long-term investment plans.

Covering a total of over 29.6 ha of land, the 1,050 billion VND cluster, once completed, will offer ready-built factories for lease, with an area of 500 - 3,300m2 each, plus 170m2 offices for rent. In addition to its ready-built factory for lease, the project will offer construction consultancy, job introduction, environmental sanitation, and support services for businesses, especial small and medium-sized ones.

Secretary Nghia proposed that Long Hau JSC, as soon as possible, establish a subsidiary company in Da Nang in order to facilitate the appeals for investment and support services for investors, and fulfill its financial obligations.

In the immediate future, the company should make every effort to ensure that its ready-built factories will be available for renters within December.

The city Party chief also asked the headquarters of the Authority of the Da Nang Hi-tech Park and Industrial Parks to be completed on 29 March, 2020, with the function of receiving investors, implementing administrative procedures for them, and ensuring water supply for production.

During his inspection of the Hoa Trung and Hoa Lien water plants, Secretary Nghia directed the municipal People’s Council to supervise the afforestation activities around the upstream of the Hoa Trung and Cu De rivers in order to protect the ecosystem and keep water sources for production at the 2 plants at their largest capacity.

In reality, the Hoa Trung water plant has been put into use, but it now operates at a daily capacity of 200m3, much lower than the designed capacity of 10,000m3, and therefore, supplies water for only the Hi-tech Park.

The focus will be accelerating the site clearance progress, in a prompt fashion, to complete the installation of the water transmission pipeline through the Hi-tech and dedicated IT parks. The aim is to ensure the plant will supply water to such other locations as the Hoa Khanh Industrial Park, Lien Chieu District and the northwestern part of Hoa Vang District in the coming time.

Also, the implementation of the 2nd stage of this water plant must be taken into account to ensure more water supplies.

The city leader also asked functional bodies to make good preparations for starting work on the Hoa Lien water plant on 30 September, in tandem with the building of the DT.601 route and water transmission pipes stretching from Nam My dam to the Hoa Lien water plant by late this year.
