On Wednesday morning, the International Vietbuild Da Nang Exhibition 2019 officially opened at the International Exhibition Fair Centre on 9 Cach Mang Thang Tam.

Attending at the opening ceremony were Deputy Minister of Construction cum Head of the organising board of the Vietbuild Viet Nam Nguyen Van Sinh, and Da Nang People's Committee Vice Chairman Dang Viet Dung.

In his remarks at the event, Deputy Minister Sinh highlighted the significance of the exhibition in realising the State's guidelines and policies on construction, real estate business, trade promotion, and international economic integration in the construction industry.

Besides, Vice Chairman Dung emphasised the event provided the good opportunity for participating businesses to introduce their strengths, products and achievements during their development and integration process to his city’s citizens. This is also a chance for them to expand their market to Da Nang and elsewhere in central region.

The event features a total of about 1,000 stands of 189 domestic firms, 72 joint venture companies, and 54 foreign businesses. The foreign participants come from 12 countries, including the US, Germany, Spain, South Korea, Japan, and Taiwan.

According to the organisers, this year’s exhibition sees a 25% increase in the number of stands compared to last year’s. Meanwhile, products on sale at this year’s event will be more diverse and abundant than the previous year’s.

The exhibition will run until Sunday, 19 May.
