On Wednesday, the Da Nang International Airport administration held a seminar in Japan on expanding non-stop services from Da Nang to Nagoya.

This new service aimed to realise a Memorandum of Understanding signed on 20 February between representatives from Da Nang International Airport and the Chubu Centrair Airport.

Also present at the seminar were representatives from the Da Nang Department of Tourism, the Chubu Centrair Airpor, and over 30 businesses participating in Japan’s ‘Golden Week’ which lasted from 27 April – 2 May.

Mr Phan Kieu Hung, Deputy Director of the Da Nang International Airport, said in 2018 alone, Da Nang welcomed more than 139,000 Japanese tourists, 2.6 times higher than 2014.
