In particular, the city has launched the ‘Comfort as Home’ project to encourage local hotels, guest houses, coffee shops and restaurants to offer free use of their restrooms to domestic and foreign visitors.  In addition, the ‘Da Nang Smile’ campaign, and the code of conduct applicable to the tourism sector have been publicised widely across the city.

The city is emerging as an attractive destination for visitors from both home and abroad thanks to the practical good deeds made by hospitable and helpful residents, especially those involved in tourism like salespeople, drivers of cyclos and taxis.

“My family is deeply impressed by the hospitality and enthusiasm made by local citizens”, She added.

In particular, the majority of visitors to the city feel comfortable whilst they go shopping at local shops or having meals at local restaurants because all of them display the prices of their products, and to sell them at the prices displayed.

Ms Ngoc Ha, a shop owner along the Pham Van Dong Beach said that she has always given the top priority to ensure food safety and hygiene to ensure the health of both locals and visitors.

The Head of the city's Tourist Cyclo Team, Mr Nguyen Quoc Thinh, remarked that his team members always exert every effort to ensure the safe of their customers, and enhance the quality of their services, in order to help the city build a more friendly and civilised tourism environment.
