Party General Secretary visits businesses

During a stay in Da Nang, Vietnamese Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong visited some local businesses on Tuesday morning.  He was accompanied by some of the city’s leaders.

During his visit to the TCIE Vietnam Company at the expanded Hoa Khanh Industrial Park, General Secretary Trong expressed his delight at visiting a foreign-invested enterprise which is operating so effectively in the city.  He also said he hopes that the company will gain more success and make more significant contributions to the progress of Da Nang, and Viet Nam as a whole.

TCIE Vietnam produced its first cars on June 2012.  Currently, the company is supplying Nissan Sunny cars for the domestic market, as well as actively contributing towards the development of Viet Nam’s automobile industry.

On the same day, General Secretary Trong also went to the Hoa Tho Textiles and Garments Company.  He spoke highly of the production management capacity of the company’s leaders as well as their efforts to expand international consumer markets for the company’s yarns and garments, especially suits. 

In addition, the national leader paid a visit to the construction site of the Hue T-junction overpass project.  He remarked that it is an important transport infrastructure project for the city.  Once opened to traffic, the overpass will become a unique and modern architectural feature, and will make significant contributions to the city’s progress.  The visiting guest also said he hopes that the construction units will implement this project on schedule.  On this occasion, he presented gifts to some civil engineers and workers at the construction site.
