US organisation funds project for orphans and disadvantaged children

The Giving it Back to Kids, which is a non-profit organisation from the USA, has been funding the 2nd stage of the project caring for orphans and disadvantaged children in Da Nang during the 2017 - 2020 period.

The over 352,000 USD project is being implemented at the Mary’s Home charity shelter at 27 Duong Thi Xuan Quy in Ngu Hanh Son District, and the Carmela’s Home at 12 Thanh Huy 2 in Lien Chieu District.

A total of 40 orphans and disadvantaged children aged between 4 and 18 years old gets benefits from the project.

Currently, they are given spiritual, material, nutritional, healthcare and educational aids, as well as are supported to continue their studies at universities, junior colleges and vocational training schools. In addition, they are offered career orientations in order to clearly understand their future careers.

In addition, the project helps the beneficiaries reunion with their families after finishing their studies and finding a stable job.
