On Wednesday, the Lien Chieu District Police temporarily detained Dang Van Nhut, 22, from Thua Thien Hue Province, who is now temporarily residing in Hoa Minh Ward, for "illegally trafficking drugs”.

In mid May, the police kept track of Nhut’s suspicious acts, and eventually, at 4.30pm on 5 June, Nhut was caught red hand when he was selling drugs to addicts.

At the scene, a total of 3 grams of narcotics and other exhibits were seized.

During his interrogations, Nhut admitted to have sold drugs to up to 5 addicts each day.

The offender purchased the drugs from a local dealer, and then waited for a chance to resell them in the hope of reaping the highest possible profits.
