A free elevator engineering course, for 12 students of the Da Nang College of Technology who have gained outstanding academic results, began on Thursday morning.  The course is co-organised by the college and Japan’s ME Inc.

The first 3-month stage of the course will be held at the college, after which the trainees will go to Japan to study for a further 3 years.  They will be paid salaries during their practicum in Japan, and will have the opportunity to work for Japanese companies after they finish their training courses.

Under the cooperation programme between them and the Da Nang College of Technology, the ME Inc and Japan’s Fujitec Company have already donated a nearly 500 million VND elevator with a capacity of 1,200kg to the college.  This equipment is used as a teaching aid in the college’s training programmes.
