Mr Ricky Tan asked for help from the city authorities to facilitate the upgrade of the existing Pegasus International College @ Da Nang, located in Phu My An urban area, Hoa Hai Ward, Ngu Hanh Son District, into an international university.

Accordingly, new majors, namely hi-tech and IT, will be added to the new university’s training programmes, and this, actually, matches the city’s human resources development strategies.

The Singaporean group leader also said he would like relevant local agencies to assist his business to complete necessary investment registration procedures for the implementation of the Pegasus Smart UniCity project in the Hoa Quy New Urban Area, and the Pegasus Eco-tourism Complex in Hoa Bac Commune.

In reply, Secretary Nghia highly appreciated the Pegasus International College @ Da Nang for its effective operation in the city since its establishment in 2013, especially in training human resources for tourism and other related aspects.

The city Party chief vowed that the city leaders would work closely with the Ministry of Education and Training so as to obtain the Prime Minister’s approval for the upgrade of the existing Pegasus International College @ Da Nang into an international university.

The city top leader also asked relevant local agencies to create the most possible favourable conditions, in a transparent and objective manner, for the Singaporean group so that work can start, as soon as possible, on the Pegasus Smart UniCity project in the Hoa Quy New Urban Area, and the Pegasus Eco-tourism Complex in Hoa Bac Commune.
