In reply, Chairman Thu thanked the city authorities for their goodwill to give assistance to the local Bahá'í community, especially facilitating the construction of the city’s Bahá'í Meeting Hall where upcoming celebrations for the 200th anniversary of the birth of Bahá'u'lláh will take place.

The city is now home to about 400 Bahá'í followers who are together practicing their religion in their groups in the districts of Hai Chau, Son Tra and Lien Chieu.  Bahá'í Faith is a religion teaching the essential worth of all religions, and the unity and equality of all people.
