The University of Da Nang (UDN) has ranked 6th amongst top Viet Nam’s 10 leading universities. This means a raise of 3 places from January’s rankings.

The result was announced via the Webometrics Ranking of World Universities in July.

The positive result was mainly attributed to UDN’s renewal of ways to access education-related information, and the synchronous connections between UDN and its school members, and their domestic and foreign educational partners.

Also, UDN has paid special attention to enhancing its publication initiatives in ISI and SCOPUS journals, and the quality of education and international accreditation.

The Webometrics Ranking of World Universities, also known as Ranking Web of Universities, is a ranking system for universities worldwide based on a composite indicator that takes into account both the volume of the Web contents (number of web pages and files), and the visibility and impact of these web publications according to the number of external links (site citations) they received.

It is an initiative of the Cybermetrics Lab, a research group belonging to the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC), the largest public research body in Spain.
