The vehicles are joint efforts of MMC and DoIT on exploring how to effectively promote the use of EVs in Viet Nam.

These vehicles will enable MMC and DoIT to study how EVs can tackle air pollution caused by transportation in order to reduce CO2 emissions and save fuel. In addition, they will help to serve visitors to discover popular tourist attractions around Da Nang, and in the Hoi An World Heritage site.

The cooperation project between MMC and DoIT will help Da Nang develop its environmentally-friendly policies to adopt in the locality in the future years.

In his remarks at the ceremony, municipal People’s Committee Vice Chairman Ho Ky Minh re-affirmed the city's firm stance on making every effort to achieve its green growth and sustainable development goals.
