Work starts on VNA's central region and highlands information centre

On Monday, the Viet Nam News Agency (VNA) broke ground on the central region and highlands branch of its information centre at 28 Le Thanh Ton Street, Hai Chau District, Da Nang.  Present at the event were the VNA General Director, Mr Nguyen Duc Loi, and the Da Nang People's Committee Vice Chairman, Mr Nguyen Xuan Anh.

The new 12-storey-plus-basement centre is being built on an area of 2,348m2 at a cost of 194 billion VND.  It will facilitate VNA’s management of information from its 11 branches in the central coast region and the highlands, as well as its integration into VNA’s network in 63 cities and provinces nationwide and over 30 countries around the world.
