'DiscoRobo’, an entertainment robot produced by TOSY Robotics Company in Viet Nam will be launched at the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival.

DiscoRobo has four colors presenting different personalities, including blue strong Lucas, impressive red Andy, stylish violet Alex and feminine pink Ruby.

The dancing toy robot can respond to music and dance with 56 different hops. It can also respond to other sounds and move body to rhythms of the drum, guitar, clapping and footsteps. The battery-operated robot toy can perform eight facial expressions.

The high-tech toy robot was listed among the most popular products by the Popular Science Magazine at the American International Toy Fair 2012 in New York.

‘DiscoRobo’ will come in four colors presenting different personalities, including blue strong Lucas, impressive red Andy, stylish violet Alex and feminine pink Ruby.

The toy will also be launched in markets like the US, EU, Australia, and Brazil.

In the domestic market, customers can buy the DiscoRobo-Special Edition with speaker, designed as a mini theater with portable MP3 music player with high quality 2.0 sound.

Users can download music for the robot to dance to the memory card in the speaker or connect the speaker to their mobile phones, smartphones and tablets.

DiscoRobo will be sold at VND499, 000 each and the Special Edition at VND998,000.
