Four businesspeople in Da Nang have been amongst the 100 nationwide recipients of ‘Viet Nam’s Best Young Entrepreneurs 2018’ title. The honourees are Chairman of the Board of Directors of the PGT Group Le Anh Trieu, Director of the Adoor Viet Nam company Mai Van Khoa, Director of the Kim Trung Bao company Nguyen Thi Ny, and Director of the Anh Thinh Minh Co Ltd Nguyen Thi Nhung.

In order to receive the notable award, the young entrepreneurs have to meet requirements such as being not older than 35, are holding key positions, such as chairman, general director and owner of a company, or head of a cooperative that is legally registered in Viet Nam. The entrepreneurs will be assessed regardless of ethnicity and religion, and whether their companies belong to the private sector or the state-owned sector.

The entrepreneurs should have a remarkable achievement in the management of their companies, and be an active participant in social welfare activities. The products of their companies have to have high quality, as assessed by customers, are environmentally friendly and not harmful to health.

Chairman of the Board of Directors of the PGT Group Le Anh Trieu once earned his living by doing different jobs such as construction materials and consumer goods salesman, concrete finisher, and land broker.

Thanks to his ceaseless efforts to pursue his strong start-up ambitions, Trieu set up its own business in 2009. In the early days of operation, his company faced numerous difficulties, and especially in 2012, when the city’s real estate market hit a sudden and significant slowdown.

Since its inception, the PGT Group has affirmed a strong foothold in the city’s competitive real estate market, and it has always focused on promoting the motto that echoes the “customer first” sentiment through customer-oriented activities in a bid to offer best real estate products.

In the future, the PGT Group aims to become one of the best real estate developer in Viet Nam, with a focus on creating such products as housing for low income earners and offices for startups, and embarking upon hi-tech agriculture.

Opening his own business in 2013 with the initial capital of only 100 million VND, 40 million VND of which was in bank loan, Director of the Adoor Viet Nam company Mai Van Khoa has made great efforts to overcome obstacles in the face of fierce competition.

Over the past year, Adoor generated billions of VND in revenue, created employment opportunities for 45 job seekers with a monthly income of between 9 and 10 million VND per person. The company has to date established its branches in such localities as Ha Tinh, Ho Chi Minh City and Nha Trang, and similar one is expected to be put into operation in Ha Noi next year.

Adoor now specialises in supplying high quality steel, aluminium and tempered glass doors with such outstanding features as sound and heat insulation, and anti-warping.

Director of the Kim Trung Bao company Nguyen Thi Ny is also one of the local standouts amongst a sea of entrepreneurs who have shown commitment, determination, and a certain recklessness in the pursuit of their life-long aspirations. The strong-willed woman set up her company in 2014 which mainly offers car trading, transportation, and related services.

After 4 years of operation, Kim Trung Bao has become a reliable partner of renowned companies and economic groups nationwide such as the Nong Son Thermo Power Plant, the Dung Quat Oil Refinery Plant, Lilama 69-1 JSC, the Tra Vinh Province- located Duyen Hai Thermal Power Plant, and especially, it is a strategic partner for Viet Nam - Singapore Industrial Park in Quang Ngai Province.

Kim Trung Bao is striving to maintain its stature as a medium-sized, well-structured enterprise with a strong financial capacity and stable business operation, and become a prestigious brand which is active in construction and levelling works.

Another good example for other start-up lovers to follow is Director of the Anh Thinh Minh Co Ltd Nguyen Thi Nhung. Having graduated from the Da Nang University of Economics (in 2009), Nhung joined forces with her friends to start up an advertising company with the simple desire for earning their living after graduation.

With an initial capital of only 10 million VND, Anh Thinh Minh has to date earned an annual turnover of over 10 billion. Up to now, Anh Thinh Minh has emerged as a prestigious event organiser in Central Viet Nam, with 95% of its customers hailing from Ho Chi Minh City and Ha Noi.

"Anh Thinh Minh gathers young people with strong aspirations and ambitions to show off their abilities. We always do our best to enrich ourselves and our families, as well as get actively involved in partly boosting the progress of the whole community, Ny noted.
