Over 76 billion VND for upgrade of Tho Quang wharf
Following recent approval by the Ministry of Transport, the 319 Corporation under the Ministry of Defence has been selected as the contractor for a project to upgrade the existing navigation channel at Da Nang’s Tho Quang fishing wharf.
The over 76 billion VND upgrade project will be deployed under public-private partnership (PPP) format, using build-lease-transfer (BLT) model.
Work is expected to start on the project by the end of the 1st quarter of this year, and it will be implemented within 45 days.
The project aims to enhance the functionality of the existing navigation channel, thereby enabling 10,000 deadweight tonnage (DWT) ships to pass through to the wharf, as well as separating the public navigation channel from the city-based Zone 3 Naval High Command's anchorage area.
