The Deputy Head of the park’s Authority, Mr Pham Truong Son, underlined the necessity to establish a business incubator centre in the Hi-tech Park because incubation activities are decisive factors in ensuring the success of a national industrial park (IP).

Mr Le Dinh Phong from the Authority of the Ho Chi Minh City Hi-tech Park shared experiences in effectively operating business incubator centres at this venue and those in South Korea.  He emphasised the significance of ensuring a close link between such centres, investors, universities, the business community and relevant government agencies.

Dr Vu Duong, the Vice Chairman of the Business Start-up Board of the Duy Tan University, noted that Da Nang is now facing a severe shortage of high-quality human resources, and this is an obstacle in carrying out business incubation activities.

Also at the event, the CEO of the Da Nang Entrepreneurship Support Company (DNES), Mr Tran Vu Nguyen, briefed the participants on the city’s current start-up ecosystem.  He also proposed that the Authority of the Da Nang Hi-tech Park should promote start-up businesses involved in such spearhead aspects as tourism, trade and services, logistics and information technology.
